We slightly delayed our departure from O’Cebreiro to  Triacastela so that we could watch the sunrise over the mountains. It was spectacular. The 13 mile walk was relatively easy, but there were several challenging climbs and descents.. From now on, the walks will mostly be going downward toward the ocean, but there will always be occasional climbs. We saw some extraordinarily beautiful vistas throughout the day. The day was mostly uneventful, except for the moment when a herd of cows  forced me off the path and caused me to have a slight tumble into the grass. Thankfully, no harm done.

We had supper with, our friends from Australia, two women and a man, with whom we have spent a lot of time because they are such a delightful group. The three of them did not know one another before the  Camino. Supper was delicious. Four of us had the paella, which was superb. The three course meal, plus wine, cost €14 each. Unbelievable.

A note for those who may try to view the few photos that I will attempt to post. On the welcome page, if you scroll down toward the bottom of the page, you will hopefully see on the left the words “ welcome Page” as C and on the right, three small bars. If you click on the three bars, you hopefully will be brought to the photos. Good luck. I have heard from at least one person that he succeeded.
